The band's energy was amazing as they played all fast songs like "Me and My Friends." At some of the shows, it looked like Anthony Kiedus was struggling, even with a soft cast on one leg due to an ankle injury. I was reading about their tour for the last year and watching their concerts on Youtube, and was concerned about his various injuries and well-being. The audience returned the energy and stood the whole concert, singing along to every song. The concert felt like a political rally or religious revival, and Helen Keaney definitely "took us to church." Surprisingly, I saw him with no cast and dancing around the stage doing his "fighting with invisible ninjas" dance, after seeing Youtube videos of him with a cast the day before our show. People we spoke to who went to all three MSG concerts said the final night we attended was the best. On their tour schedule, they aren't doing another show until March 2nd, so they can rest up after our show where they exerted more energy than someone running a marathon!
